|

Hi all.
I am on gentoo, using fvwm, JACK and kaffeine. phonon is configured to use the jack-audio-connection-kit. In kde system settings, I can ear the sound when clicking on test.
phonon is installed with USE="gstreamer vlc xine -debug -pulseaudio". It work just fine with jack and it is what I want. I am not interested by any other sound server. Phonon doesn't work with pulseaudio from fvwm anyway...
My issue is that I get no sound at all from kaffeine, and no kaffeine port into qjackctl.
The only sound related stuff working into kaffeine are the mute and volume buttons. But they change anything, I get always no sound.
Also, the sound is working fine with the same settings and kaffeine-0.8.8
How can I get the sound to work with kaffeine-1.1 and jack but without kde running?
