Hello ,

I use kaffeine 1.1 on my fedora 14 workstation .

I've two question :

1 - how can I manually add channel on my configuratione ? (where is the kaffeine channel file??)

2 - how can I manually add a mux on my list of mux to scan (where is this file ?)

Thanks

1.) add the missing mux to the scanfile (see 2) and rescan. The Channels database is ~/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine/sqlite.db

2.) the scanfile is ~/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine/scanfile.dvb see here for an example how to add a missing mux.

I try to start new scan and update kaffeine scanfile with :

w_scan -ft -c it -x > update.dvb

- After the scan completed I've update scanfile.dvb with the results of previous scan (update.dvb)

- Start kaffeine

- Run the channels scan .

kaffeine dont found any new channel (its strange because there is many new channel on the scan) and scanfile.dvb is rebuilding with old configuration .

Problem solved .

I manually add the result of the scan on my scanfile.dvb by edit entry from

T 514000000 8MHz AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO NONE
to
T 514000000 8MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/32 NONE

and start a new scan from kaffeine .

Thanks for help
