Hello
I do have a severe problem: when starting Kaffeine only the first point from the 5 possible choices show s anything (when I select a film on my HD, it works). All four other choices give an error | Code: | no device found (Digital TV)
Cannot find input plugin for MRL "vcd://". (video CD)
Lesefehler von: /dev/dvd (DVD)
Cannot find input plugin for MRL "cdda://". (Audio abspielen) |
This is most disturbing. However, I have deleted one file with zero content earlier today in
Unfortunately I just deleted instead of getting it into the Wastebin.
What can I do to reinstate the functioning? I would rather not loose the «sqlite.db-file», there was quite few hours work in it to get it exactly like I'd like it.
My operating systems are Kubuntu 10.10 ., Linux Mint 12 KDE and Sabayon (however here I have not yet installed Kaffeine.
So, all thanks in Advance for any help I can get. _________________ Best greetings from Scotland's nicest Holiday Island

I got a bit further: Probably it is the missing zero bit file in ~/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine/. I remember to have deleted this file as obsolete. So, if anybody has it how about an Email with the file attached to bruno13@scotnet.co.uk or an attachement here? _________________ Best greetings from Scotland's nicest Holiday Island

Problem solved. It was a question of rights with the sqlite.db. They were naturally not for the same as requeired in the new /home. Once the rights changed,d everything runs smoth as warm butter. _________________ Best greetings from Scotland's nicest Holiday Island
