With my Kubuntu Hardy install (0.8.6 I think) there are plenty of settings I can change in Kaffeine but with Ubuntu Lucid (Version 1.0-svn3) I cannot adjust the brightness or add/remove items on the toolbars.
Is there some other way to change these settings ?
Kaffeine is excellent for watching and recording Dvb/T television (multiple channels etc). |

Kaffeine's settings are saved in /home/<user>/.kde/share/config/kaffeinerc -- at the end of the text file you'll find this section:
[Video Settings]
Brigthness=59239
Contrast=27022
Hue=-1
Saturation=36339 |

I tried to make the changes with Kaffeine closed and then start Kaffeine 1.0pre3 with new video setting but without result. I'm using the version that is the repository of lucid. I do not know how to do this kaffeine recognize kaffeinerc.
In kaffeine 0.8.9 installed via. Deb that works here at Lucid. I also tried using the settings that worked in 0.8.9 but not work in 1.0pre3. So I'm using 0.8.9 in Lucid. |
