yes sure, i downloaded the software u are looking from
this url http:www.youtube-video-downloads.org its a very powerfull software
and u can download any youtube video in your pc and convert it in any
format you want, give it a try because online there are not many software like
this one, take care! |

you could install 'clive' if you are using a linux based system.
As for converting to mp3, I am not so sure.
There's probably python scripts out there to convert the downloaded clip.

ever looked in your /tmp while playing inet-vids?
for conversion just use ffmpeg or avidemux |
